Innovaero CEO Gregory Tunny joined the Australian British Defence Catalyst 2026 in London recently, hosted by the Australian British Chamber of Commerce, bringing together the top tier of defence, industry, policy and research from Australia and the UK.
Greg joined the ‘Complex Weapons’ panel alongside Tom Tizard (MBDA) and Mike K. (Cambridge Aerospace), moderated by Col. Harry Fullerton, discussing long-range strike, integrated air and missile defence, and the government choices shaping sovereign capability.
As Australia’s sovereign armed drone OEM, Innovaero brings a 20-year history of aeronautical innovation and the manufacture/integration of those innovations. Our OWL family is being developed as Australia’s sovereign loitering munition capability – affordable, precise, and built for scale. Importantly, Innovaero is designing a new manufacturing facility, which will significantly increase our production capacity.
Conversations like these reinforce the importance of strong UK–Australia industry collaboration as both nations advance their respective defence investment programs.
