OWL-X
A jet-powered munition providing both high-speed medium-range strike and counter-drone interception.
OWL-X is a high-speed, long-range loitering system engineered for demanding missions, uniting high-speed precision strike and counter-drone interception in a single autonomous platform. Developed and demonstrated under an arrangement with the Department of Defence, OWL-X has already proven itself in the air: 2025 prototype flights met every operational goal, exceeding 20,000ft (6,000m) in altitude and 400kts (740km/hr) in speed.
Overview
The OWL-X is a cost-effective, canister-launched, turbine-powered, high-speed, kinetic interceptor. It was designed for challenging C-UAS and ground strike missions. The OWL-X has a rapid reaction time and high manoeuvrability, giving it exceptional targeting abilities.
Autonomy
Demonstrated ability to execute a predefined mission fully autonomously, including retasking while in flight and synchronisation with additional platforms.
Testing
Currently in a development loop and including additional flight tests.
